Hello, I'm Alex Baker! Also known as AlexBakerman (because, it turns out that "Alex Baker" is quite a popular name!! Who knew!?).

I'm a TV and Radio Presenter working for a variety of cool places such as Kerrang! Radio/TV and Q Radio. I'm also an international DJ playing whatever the dancefloor wants!!

I also work for Monster Energy Drink, looking after the music roster for the UK and Ireland.

Watching the film Stake Land. Ooh maybe this is something I can do here on tumblr!!! Movie Review: Stake Land It’s like “The Road” but with vampires! Not seen The Road? Basically imagine earth but it’s proper crap, people are MEGA-VIOLENT and are eating each other (yeah…pretty bad). Well it’s like that, but with vampires. People have lost their way and society has collapsed. It’s arty, dark and very very bleak. If you like things bleak you’ll love it - if your favourite film is Mean Girls you may wonder why your brain is hurting and why your eyes feel like they have been molested. Not for everyone - not good for parties! I’ll give it 7x Bs - as in 7 Bakers out of 10 Bakers.

Movie Review: Stake Land
It’s like “The Road” but with vampires! Not seen The Road? Basically imagine earth but it’s proper crap, people are MEGA-VIOLENT and are eating each other (yeah…pretty bad). Well it’s like that, but with vampires. People have lost their way and society has collapsed. It’s arty, dark and very very bleak. If you like things bleak you’ll love it - if your favourite film is Mean Girls you may wonder why your brain is hurting and why your eyes feel like they have been molested.

Not for everyone - not good for parties!

I’ll give it 7x Bs - as in 7 Bakers out of 10 Bakers.

Without trying to run the risk of sounding like a bit of a rubbish-man (although I accept I am far from the most manly of people on this earth)…I couldn’t help but notice this morning that my drive to work is actually pretty sweet looking! Instagram has made it look a bit better granted, but yeah still looks rather splendid really. Off to Manchester now for The Radio Festival - giving a talk at the Foot In The Door section of it all. Wish me luck peeps!
